The main challenge of this project was reflecting the design philosophy of the owner, italian architect and designer Paolo Rizzatto.

Designing is for Rizzatto, composing, putting together concepts, ideas, aspirations and knowledge from different fields and times. His products are highly balanced, and have a subtle formal link to the past and exceptional attention to technology.

I decided that the website should reflect his very own personality, and went for an editorial style. I wanted the site to be like a book about his work; clean and sharp navigation, a strong yet flexible grid based layout and not a single graphical element except for his own work.

The site was designed to be implemented using the WordPress platform.

After 6 years online, product designer Francisco Gomez Paz asked me to re-design his one-page portfolio website. I changed the look and feel of it, increased the size of images and the amount of information displayed. The new website was also designed to work using WordPress.

Spotd.it is a design magazine with a strong personality. Focused on the essence of design, as opposite to the stylish, idea-less design, it features exclusive editorial and high quality photographic content.
I created a bold and confident logotype, playing with the letter “o” to enhance both the meaning of the word “spot’ and the blog’s extreme attention for details.

I also designed spotd’s website.

Product Boxes

As part of the brand identity project created for Italkero I designed these boxes for one of their recent products, the Stratos radiating heater. I explored both the economical version on cardboard, which was finally the one we printed, and a full colour version.

Lifestyle Catalog

A lifestyle catalog designed as a complement to the general product catalog for italian heating company Italkero. Intended for final consumers, it features the domestic product range with ambient photographs. To assure some dynamism each product spread is represented with a slightly different colour shade, and the text boxes are placed at different heights of the vertical grid.

Italkero is a small and innovative company based in Modena, Italy, that manufactures heating systems. Together with my friend and fellow graphic designer Veronica Haglund we designed the new brand identity, including the logotype, a mascot illustrated by Martin Laksman, product catalogs, product boxes and advertising posters.

This is the general product catalog, intended for dealers and sellers and featuring detailed technical information, product compatibility, accessories and price list.

Sironi Meccanica is a small metal processing company in the north of Italy that specializes in the precision cut and elaboration of metal sheets. I design their logotype inspired in the synthetic representation of their know-how, using the last two letters N and I as if they were precision tools cutting and folding a thin sheet of metal.
