Logotype for the online magazine spotd.it

Spotd.it is a design magazine with a strong personality. Focused on the essence of design, as opposite to the stylish, idea-less design, it features exclusive editorial and high quality photographic content.
I created a bold and confident logotype, playing with the letter “o” to enhance both the meaning of the word “spot’ and the blog’s extreme attention for details.

I also designed spotd’s website.

Logotype for a metal processing company

Sironi Meccanica is a small metal processing company in the north of Italy that specializes in the precision cut and elaboration of metal sheets. I design their logotype inspired in the synthetic representation of their know-how, using the last two letters N and I as if they were precision tools cutting and folding a thin sheet of metal.

Design of new logotype for italian heating company Italkero

Italkero is an italian company operating in the domestic and industrial heating industry. Together with my friend and fellow graphic designer Veronica Haglund we re-designed their logotype. The main intention was to keep their long time symbol, a fox, interpreting it with a modern attitude.

Also for Italkero I designed the product boxes, the product and lifestyle catalogs, and advertising poster.

Logotype for a Resort

Punta Tabasco is a beautiful resort placed by a lake in the sunny city of San Juan in Argentina. The place offers a magnetic view, beach services and sports besides hosting events of any kind.

They asked me to revisit their logo that was getting a bit old. Inspired by the fabulous sun and the reputation of the area of having “one of the cleanest skies” my proposal features a stylized sun with only one ray of light coming out, which plays with the name of the resort itself, punta is the spanish word for edge.

The intention of this logotype for an european simposium on technology was to graphically express the creative use of technology; by decomposing a geometrical and pure cube I wanted to represent the opening of technology to new ways of thinking.

Design of logotype for a design blog

Designbeans was a design blog founded in 2003, one of my very first blogs that started as a personal project to keep track of all the things I liked and ended up as a a much broader site, with a design directory and special reports of design fairs and events around europe. After 6 years I decided to wave goodbye to it and throw myself into other projects.
This is the logotype I created for the site.
